Module 1 Overview

Hey there and welcome to your first module of the Baby-Led Play Foundations Course!

I am so excited for you to get started!

But first, I’ve got to tell you. Although this module might not seem the fanciest or the flashiest and you might be tempted to skip around or jump to the next modules of this course, this module is so important for us to dive into.

Because this is the foundation on which all of the other modules are built.

Remember, Baby-Led Play Foundations is intended to provide a comprehensive framework for you to feel more connected to your baby through play while also using playtime to promote your baby’s growth and milestone development.

I know that you will approach play completely differently and have so much more fun with your baby if you take the time to learn the baby basics and understand what type of play is the most impactful and how to create a schedule that works best for you and your little one.

In this first module, we’ll start with the fundamentals and you’ll discover piece-by-piece why play is so important.

You’ll learn how to set up the foundation of an impactful daily routine for you and your baby and then we’ll take some time figuring out where you’re at with your current approach to play and where you want to go, plus how to get there. From there, we’ll work on understanding your baby’s play personality when it comes to play time so you know exactly how to adjust things to match your baby’s unique preferences.

I’ll share lots of tips on how to create a stress-free daily play routine, even if play doesn’t come naturally or feels overwhelming to you and, of course, every day you’ll have a play prompt you can put into action with your baby right away so you never run out of ideas of what to do with your baby each day.

By the time we finish module one, you’ll start to look at play differently and feel a shift in your approach to play.

You’ll discover the secrets behind the most impactful play approaches, both for your baby’s development and for your relationship with your baby, which will set you up perfectly for module 2, where you’ll discover the different types of play and how to create a play routine that encourages optimal growth in each of the main areas of your baby’s development.

As you dive into this course, try to block time each day to watch the daily video. These are all between 5-15 minutes and will give you the information you need to take the next steps in your play transformation and really start to fall in love with this phase of your parenting journey.

But remember, life happens. And I totally understand to miss a day here and there with everything you have going on right now. If this happens, just catch up when you can so you can keep moving forward with each of the units.

I’d much rather have you take your time and finish each of the modules when you can than to feel overwhelmed and miss out on how to connect with your baby through play.

That does it for our quick overview for module 1. Your next step is to get started with unit 1. We’ll see you there.
