Life as a new mom tends to be lonely enough without trying to do our part and socially distance. So on top of balancing the demands of new motherhood and being socially responsible, we’re all looking for ways to get parenting tips, find comfort and support, get answers to our questions, and feel virtually connected with others.

And the Clubhouse App is quickly becoming my favorite way to feel more supported and more connected, while learning more and more ways to feel more confident and more prepared as a parent.

If you’ve recently joined Clubhouse and want to connect with other moms and parenting experts, but have no idea where to get started, here’s 10 Clubhouse accounts that find the perfect balance of helpful information, support, and encouragement to keep you entertained during the day and awake during all of those late night feedings.

Note: More moms and parenting experts are joining Clubhouse every day! Check back on this list every week or two for updates on new mom accounts to follow on Clubhouse.

Danielle LaFee from @babysfirstyear

Of course, I’d love to have you connect with me over on Clubhouse! I focus on discussing attachment and baby-led approaches to help new parents feel more confident and more connected with their babies, with a particular emphasis on sleep without sleep training and connecting with your baby through play.

I’m still working on my schedule, but here’s a few things I’m working on building into my weekly schedule:

*Open discussions to talk about baby sleep and how you can support your baby’s sleep without sleep training,

*Panel discussions where you can learn from baby and parenting experts and ask questions in real-time,

*Weekly check-ins to hear from other parents and offer encouragement as we connect and discuss our highs and lows,

*And More!

Head over to my account to follow me and then turn on notifications to know when I’m hosting a room or speaking in a group.

Tanefer Camara from @taneferlcamara

If you’re looking for encouragement as a new parent, you need Tanefer in your life.

Tanefer is an IBCLC lactation consultant, infant feeding specialist, and postpartum doula who’s passionate about supporting new and expecting parents. She’s also the host of the Midnight Milk Club, which is one of the most supportive and encouraging clubhouse groups I’ve been a part of so far.

The other day, I joined a discussion she was facilitating and the entire panel was filled with so many knowledgeable and supportive parents. They all went around the circle to encourage this new mom who was feeling overwhelmed by mom guilt and ended up having the most moving, inspirational connection I’ve seen online in a very long time.

I was blown away by how welcoming the group was and Tanefer helped everyone to embrace the moms coming to chat with them in the best kind of virtual hug for some much needed support and encouragement. And who doesn’t need a little of that in their life?
